Changing Brokerage Name

Details
The DFM licensed brokerage company may request to change the company name through an official request.

Fees
AED 1000 per change

Procedures
  1. Brokerage firm submits letter to SCA to request a change of Brokerage name
  2. DFM will receive a letter from SCA approving the change of name.
  3. Brokerage company must submit the required documents to the DFM (see below)
  4. DFM receives and reviews all submitted documents
  5. DFM approves request and updates the name
  6. Official notification is sent by DFM to the brokerage company to confirm the name has been changed on the market

  1. Settlement Accounts Numbers
  2. Updated Memorandum of Association
  3. Trade Licenses
  4. SCA License
  5. Bank Guarantee Letter
  6. Authorized Signatories Letter (Template attached)
  7. Opening Account Form
  8. Company’s New Logo (JPG)
  9. Acknowledgment & Undertaking Letter (Template attached)
  10. List of Board of Directors and Partnerships (Template attached)
  11. Company’s Contact Updates Form (Form Attached)
  12. Rename License Application (Form Attached)
  13. Overdraft Letter (Template attached)
