Audit Confirmation Letter

The Clearing, Settlement and Depository Department sends an official correspondence to the relevant auditors, advising them of the number of securities the investor owns at the specified date, as per the investor’s request.

AED 100 per investor

  1. The investor or their representative sends an official request to the DFM Client Affairs Department conveying the investor’s interest to know the number of securities they own, up to a specified date, and attach the fees with the application.
  2. The Client Affairs Department will issue a receipt of the fees paid
  3. The letter will be prepared once payment is made and submitted to the investor or their representative

How to Apply?
Online through DFM eServices or in person at the DFM Client Affairs Department, Trading Floor, World Trade Centre, Dubai


The custodian should send an official letter requesting an Audit Confirmation Letter, which should be addressed to the related auditors.

The letter should mention the following:
  • The settlement date.
  • Client name and investor number.
  • The address details of the auditor.
  • Submission of fees.
  • The custodian’s stamp and authorized signature.
