DFM Issuing Investor Number NIN (Heirs Account)

Service ID

An Investor Number is issued under the name of the heirs only if a representative is available to take control over the shares of the deceased

Free of Charge

  1. Complete the Investor Number Request Form” and have it duly signed by the Representative of all Heirs
  2. Submit the form along with the required documents to the Investor Affairs
  3. An Investor Number will be issued instantly and provided to the authorized person
  4. An SMS will be sent with the NIN number

Investors signature must be certified by one of the following :

  • Dubai CSD staff at Investor Affairs
  • Licensed Trading member at Dubai Financial Market
  • An accredited Bank in UAE licensed by UAE Central Bank
  • Notary Public and UAE Embassy in foreign countries or by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Required Documents
  • Completed Investor Number Request Form signed by the Representative
  • True copy of Death Certificate.
  • True copy of a duly certified Legal Declaration and/or Inheritance Limitation
  • Valid Copy of Representative's Passport or Emirates National ID.
  • Valid copy of a duly authenticated Power of Attorney issued by the court on behalf of all Heirs
  • Valid copy of the passport or Emirates National ID of all Heirs
  • Any document issued from other countries must be authenticated by the official authorities and the UAE Embassy in those countries or the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Issuing heirs NIN will be accepted only in purpose of transferring the shares from deceased account to the Heirs account and it should be submitted along with the Transfer form.

    Submit your request in person at the Investor Affairs , Trading Floor, Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai, or submit the request through your Trading Member
