Cancel Cheque and Transfer to Bank Account

The investor can request to cancel his/her unclaimed dividend cheque distributed by DFM and transfer the amount directly to his/her bank account.

  1. The investor must provide the Client Affairs Department an official signed letter with the request to cancel the cheque and transfer the unclaimed dividend cheque amount to the bank account stating the name of the listed company and dividend year
  2. Attach with the letter all required documents and submit to the Client Affairs Department. 
  3. The amount of the cheque (dividends) will be transferred to the bank account provided within 10 to 15 business days  

Required Documents

  • A signed official letter from the investor requesting to transfer the amount of the unclaimed cheque into their bank account
  • A valid copy of the Passport   
  • A valid copy of the National ID (UAE Nationals and Residents only)         
  • Bank statement or a certified bank letter issued within the last 6 months, stating clearly the IBAN
