This service enables Shareholders to transfer their shares from and to DFM based on the agreement signed between DFM, the listed company & the company's Registrar.

Procedures
  • Procedure for Shares Transfer from DFM (Withdrawal)
  1. The investor must complete the official Deposit / Withdrawal Request Form giving the instruction to transfer the shares from DFM and submit to the Depository Department and pay the fees through eServices
  2. The transaction will be entered and approved in the system
  • Procedure for Shares Transfer to DFM (Deposit)
  1. The Company's Registrar must provide DFM with an official Deposit Request Form, giving the instruction to transfer the shares to DFM and submit to the Depository Department
  2. The investor, its broker or custodian must submit the request and pay the fees through eServices
  3. The transaction will be entered and approved in the system

Required Documents

Requirements for Shares Transfer from DFM (Withdrawal)

  • An official Deposit / Withdrawal Request Form completed by the investor, including the following details:
  1. Investor's full name
  2. DFM Investor Number (NIN)
  3. Listed company name
  4. Amount of shares to be transferred
  5. Market name
  6. Account number in the receiving market
  7. Investor’s signature
  • Payment of fees.


Requirements for shares transfer to DFM (Deposit)

  • An official Deposit/Withdrawal Request Form must be received from the company’s Registrar, including the following details:
  1. Investor's name
  2. DFM Investor Number (NIN)
  3. Listed company name
  4. Amount of shares to be deposited
  5. Name of the brokerage firm and the unerlying account number to which the shares are to be transferred (optional)
  6. Signature of the authorized person(s) (if any)
